As part of its ongoing effort to offer sprinkler information to the diverse audiences that are involved in new home development and construction, HFSC has undertaken a national survey of water officials in order to gauge their awareness and opinions about home fire sprinkler installation.

The survey, conducted for HFSC by an independent research firm, was sent electronically to water utilities. Working in partnership with the American Water Works Association (AWWA), the survey was also promoted on AWWA’s Web site to gain additional input and perspective.

HFSC promoted its resources through promotional advertisements in major water purveyor publications that urge all those involved in local water supply activities to visit HFSC’s Web site for facts about fire sprinklers in homes. Additionally, HFSC introduced a new display at the June 2008 AWWA national conference and exhibit in Atlanta, GA.
