After several years representing the United States Fire Administration (USFA) on HFSC’s Steering Committee, Larry Maruskin recently announced that due to health concerns he will no longer be traveling to attend HFSC’s meetings. In a letter of appreciation sent to Mr. Maruskin in April, HFSC Chair Gary Keith wrote: “Your energy and sincere interest in increasing home fire sprinkler installations has been a great asset to HFSC’s working team. We have greatly appreciated your insight and many contributions, particularly facilitation of enhanced collaboration between HFSC and USFA. Most of all, we have enjoyed having your company and we will miss your good humor and positive outlook.
