In support of the HFSC’s mission to increase awareness about the life-and property-saving benefits of residential fire sprinkler systems, the U.S. Fire Administration has joined the Coalition’s Steering Committee. "USFA and the HFSC share a common cause, the prevention of human and property loss caused by residential fires," said Larry Maruskin, USFA Fire Prevention Specialist. "They both also believe that the installation of residential fire sprinklers is an effective fire loss prevention and reduction measure," he added. As an entity of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), USFA involves the fire service, media, other Federal agencies and safety interest groups in the development and delivery of fire safety awareness and education programs. |
