Rick Alves owned a construction company that built high-end
homes in the San Francisco area when he first learned about
residential fire sprinkler systems. He was determined to include
the same life-saving benefits of fire sprinklers when he later
became construction manager at the Grants Pass Habitat for
Humanity in Oregon.
