Living With Sprinklers KitMost homebuilders put together a packet to give their customers at closing – from house keys to final inspections to warranty information, these packets are a great way to boost your buyers confidence before they move into their new home and leave them with a good feeling about your company.

But what if you built a home with a fire sprinkler system? Do you have sprinkler information to share?  Does your buyer understand their new sprinkler system? Probably not. To remedy that, HFSC has improved its Living with Sprinklers kit, adding an informative brochure to accompany the homeowner video and riser hangtag.

The brochure, entitled Now You’re Living with Sprinklers, provides brief but thorough information about home fire sprinkler basics. Your buyers will quickly understand what the system does, and doesn’t do, and how it protects their home and family. Plus, it provides the simple steps the homeowner can take to keep the system working properly.

The fast-paced video features Ron Hazelton, HFSC’s spokesperson and a nationally recognized home improvement expert best known for his long tenure on ABC’s Good Morning America. Ron walks the viewer through his own sprinklered home, pointing out the system’s features and explaining important basics, such as not permitting children to play with sprinklers and not hanging anything from them.

The kit also includes a tag, designed to be tied to the riser. The two-sided laminated tag identifies the riser parts so the homeowner will understand the system’s water controls. Simple sprinkler maintenance steps are covered, including how to conduct a system flow test.

There is room on the Kit for you to add your company’s name, logo and contact information. That’s important, because a national Harris Poll survey of homeowners found that 70 percent of respondents felt homebuilders who offer fire sprinklers are “safety concerned”. By personalizing the contents of the Living with Sprinklers kit, you leave behind a powerful brand reminder that you care about your customers.

Make sure you get the ongoing recognition you deserve by including the Living with Sprinklers kit in your closing packet. Go a step further and stamp or label the kit contents with your company name.

There’s no charge for the updated kits. Request your supply today.
